The Less Is More challenge for week 82 is 3-2-1. So here's my effort!

3 ribbons - 2 words - 1 bow

Bargain Stamp

I bought this lovely tulip stamp by Dovecrafts reduced to £1.

I coloured it with Promarkers and used a Spellbinder die to cut and frame it. It also has an acetate cover which you can't see in the photo. The card is SU.

Here's 2 cards I made yesterday. I bought the lovely SU stamp set (Punch Potpourri) when I was at Doncaster as I already had all the relevent punches, but I have only just got round to using it.

Totally Sentimental

I thought I'd enter the Joanna Sheen blog challenge today  which is Totally Sentimental. I kept the card fairly simple as I felt the sentiment was the most important part of the card.

Most of the materials are - Craftwork Cards - backing paper, scalloped circle and candi.
The backing butterfly is SU and the top layer is X cut. All finished off with some self-adhesive pearls from my stash.

Cased from....

Here's a card I've just made which I cased from a card made by Jules (Always With A Heart) which you can find here.

I didn't add a sentiment as I have been asked to make some 'any occasion' cards and thought this would fit the bill.

Color Throwdown

No your eyes are not deceiving you, I am posting again in less than 24 hours!
I came across this challenge at Color Throwdown where I decided that the unusual colour combo was definitely 'different' and it certainly took me out of my comfort zone. I'm not 100% sure about my card so see what you think.

The colour combo is Basic Grey, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla and Pumpkin Pie.

LIM One Layer - Fur or Feathers

Just thought I'd have a quick go at this week's LIM challenge, although these things are never as quick as they seem by the time I've finished deliberating.

I first embossed the label shape using my nesties and then  stamped the cute bird stamp (which was a magazine freebie) using SU Night of Navy and the SU sentiment stamp from Happy Moments (discontinued) also in  Night of Navy. I finished by giving the bird a tiny clear bling eye which is difficult to see on the pic but just gives it a finishing touch.

New Craft Room/Study

Well the kids have finally flown the nest and so we have been able to turn our back bedroom into my new craft room/study and here it is. Take a good look cos it won't stay this tidy for long!

Hopefully, I'll be back to posting again soon.

Yellow!

Here's my entry for the LIM Challenge this week which is 'yellow'.
I've used SU's So Saffron and More Mustard for my yellows which seem to have come out a bit on the brown side in my photo but I can assure you they are yellows as their names suggest.

The stamp, sentiment and flower punch are also all SU and the pearls are from The Hobby House.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog,

Anything Goes

Here's a card I'm entering into the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge.

The stamp is LOTV obviously and it is a stamp and I have coloured it, although rather subtly. The backing paper, card, ribbon and sentiment are all SU. The flowers and pearls are WOC.
I was pleased with how subtle and delicate this one turned out. Hope you like it too!

Inspired!

Here's a card I made having visited Zandy's  blog here and been inspired by her beautiful cards. Needless to say, I am now one of her followers.

I only have one Martha Stewart PATP set and this is it, but  think I may be investing in more! The sentiment was computer generated. I used my 2 butterfly punches again
(I really like this effect in case you hadn't guessed) The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the coloured card is SU.

Thanks for having a peak,

Less Is More - 3 Shades of Green

I've joined in with the Less Is More Challenge this week which is 3 Shades of Green.

I've used my Stampin Up, X cut and Martha Stewart punches again. The leaves and background butterfly are in Stampin Up Old Olive as is the ink. The X Cut butterfly is from my stash and the pearls in the centre of the butterfly are my third green. The sentiment is also SU.

Spellbinding

I've been playing with a set of Spellbinder dies which I bought ages ago and have only just released from their packaging (Slap on the wrist for me). I've also used my Xcut butterfly punch and my Stampin Up butterfly punch and also my brand new Martha Stewart leaf punch.

Add some mirri card, ribbon, a sentiment and some bling and Hey Presto!

I was quite pleased with the outcome and hope you like them too.

Variations on a theme

Here are some more LOTV images that I previously coloured and have now made into 3 very similar cards.

I'm not sure where all the card and backing papers are from as I just dug deep into my stash to find what I wanted each time.
I've just treat myself to Spellbinders embossing mats so as you can see the Nesties I've used have also been embossed.

Found this image....

Yesterday I found this stamped LOTV image that I must have coloured ages ago. I thought the colour combo was a little unusual for me so the chances are I cased it. (Thanks to whoever I cased from). As a result I was a bit doubtful about putting this combo together, but I was quite pleased with the result.

The card, ribbon, backing paper and sentiment are all Stampin Up. The flowers and pearls are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Another Mother's Day Card

So now I've made two Mother's Day cards and I can't decide which one to give my mum. I prefer the last one but I have a feeling Mum may prefer this one. Decisions...decisions.....

I was going for Springtime here in case you hadn't guessed. Decoupaged daffs in an embossed frame with pearl accents.

Ta for the visit,

White +1

Here's my entry for the Wild Orchid Challenge, White+1.

At least some of the flowers are from Wild Orchid and I think the pearls may be too. The image is an LOTV stamp and the sentiment is SU. The pearly butterfly is from Hobbycraft.

Thanks for popping by ,

Ahead of Myself

Getting ahead of myself now....I've made my mum's Mother's Day card as I thought I wouldn't have time nearer the day. Not even sure when it is to be honest!!!!

I've used the SU Manhattan Flower embossing folder again but turned it over and glittered in the spaces. Card and ribbon are also SU, the card being the no-longer-available Taken With Teal which I'm so glad I stocked up on.

5.00 a.m. Creation

Yes, I made these at 5.00 am this morning when I couldn't sleep. It brought back memories of crafting through the night, when I was having hospital treatment and couldn't sleep. It's actually a very peaceful time to craft, except for the police helicopter hovering around, that is!

They're both made using the SU Manhattan Flower embossing folder which as you can see I embossed 3 times, cut out and decoupaged. I then used Stickles to outline.
The card, ribbon and sentiments are mostly SU.
